iPhone 7 release date, rumours, features and specs

iPhone 7 camera and photos

The camera has become something of a flagship feature for Apple's smartphones and the iPhone 7 is unlikely to be any exception.

There have been numerous rumours about the camera so far, ranging from the elimination of the so-called "camera bump" (as seen on the iPhone 6s above) thanks to new telephoto lense technology, to dual rear cameras as seen on the Huawei P9.

The camera specs of the iPhone 6s and iPhone SE hold some insight into the minimum we can expect from the device, including f2.2 aperture, 12-megapixel sensor, True Tone flash and 4K video recording on the rear iSight camera and f2.2 aperture, 5-megapixel sensor, Retina flash and 720p HD video recording on the front-facing FaceTime camera.
