Are you under threat from the head of the IoT?

The hype associated to such changes helps explain why some companies are appointing a head of the IoT. Market intelligence firm ABI Research, meanwhile, is already questioning how businesses will deal with the Internet of Everything, which represents the next evolutionary stage in the IoT.

It seems like the demand for experts to help manage new IT trends never ends. But there is good news. While some people ponder the emergence of executive positions, CIOs can focus on what they do best working with their peers to deliver well-governed solutions to intractable business challenges.
