Accelerate your AI journey today: how channel partners can capitalize on the enterprise AI shift
Learn how technology partners can overcome talent shortages, infrastructure bottlenecks, and governance hurdles to scale enterprise AI
In a recent ITPro video Q&A, Managing Editor Jane McCallion sat down with TD SYNNEX Senior Vice President Advanced Solutions, EMEA Jason Boxall to examine the rapidly shifting enterprise AI landscape. The discussion addressed core partner challenges and highlighted practical strategies to turn experimental pilots into scalable commercial deployments.
The AI market has reached an operational turning point as inferencing overtakes model training and edge processing brings real-time computing closer to where data originates. At the same time, organizations are looking toward agentic AI systems capable of autonomous reasoning and execution. However, Boxall notes that this acceleration brings critical challenges: enterprise clients frequently lack clear outcome-driven strategies, face deep architectural data debt, and contend with acute shortages of specialized talent across engineering and MLOps. Compounding these hurdles are persistent security and governance concerns from CIOs and CISOs regarding data privacy and model risk.
To bridge this execution gap, TD SYNNEX expanded its Destination AITM program, an end-to-end enablement framework built around four core pillars: enablement, solution architecture, monetization, and delivery. The program equips channel partners with tools like the AI Game Plan to lead outcome-focused customer workshops, pre-configured AI Labs for risk-free sandbox testing, and tailored support across AI factories, security, and agentic workflows. By collaborating with leading tech giants such as Nvidia, Microsoft, AWS, and Dell alongside specialized ISVs, the distributor delivers both verticalized enterprise solutions and packaged, repeatable offerings designed to help small and medium-sized businesses deploy AI without overwhelming complexity.
When advising partners navigating this complex terrain, Boxall emphasizes that technical novelty should never overshadow commercial utility. "Start with the business problem, not the technology," Boxall advises. "Successful AI projects in our experience start with clearly defined business outcomes, focused on improving productivity, reducing cost, and enhancing customer experience." He also warns partners against trying to build complex AI practices alone, urging them to leverage distribution ecosystems and multi-vendor alliances.
For technology providers seeking to transform emerging AI opportunities into sustainable recurring revenue, the complete discussion offers a comprehensive roadmap. Watch the full ITPro video Q&A to discover how to accelerate your organization’s AI capabilities and lead your clients with confidence.
