Who we are
Maggie Holland, Global Content Director, B2B IT
Maggie joined ITPro as a reporter in 2006, just before the site’s official launch. Having worked her way up to editor, in 2012 she became group editor of ITPro and CloudPro. This was followed by a promotion to editorial director in 2016, when she also took responsibility for ChannelPro.
Today, she leads the strategic direction of all three sites, as well as TechRadarPro, but hasn’t lost her editorial edge. You can still find her reporting from various industry events and conferences around the globe.

Jane McCallion, Managing Editor
Jane McCallion is ITPro's Managing Editor, specializing in data centers and enterprise IT infrastructure. Before becoming Managing Editor, she held the role of Deputy Editor and, prior to that, Features Editor, managing a pool of freelance and internal writers, while continuing to specialize in enterprise IT infrastructure, and business strategy.
Prior to joining ITPro, Jane was a freelance business journalist writing as both Jane McCallion and Jane Bordenave for titles such as European CEO, World Finance, and Business Excellence Magazine.

Rory Bathgate, Features Editor
Rory Bathgate is Features and Multimedia Editor at ITPro, overseeing all in-depth content and case studies. He can also be found co-hosting the ITPro Podcast with Jane McCallion, swapping a keyboard for a microphone to discuss the latest learnings with thought leaders from across the tech sector.
In his free time, Rory enjoys photography, video editing, and good science fiction. After graduating from the University of Kent with a BA in English and American Literature, Rory undertook an MA in Eighteenth-Century Studies at King’s College London. He joined ITPro in 2022 as a graduate, following four years in student journalism.

From office-based hardware such as laptops, webcams, and printers, to cloud-based software like online productivity suites and security applications, ITPro reviews the equipment that all businesses need.
How we test
Our in-house editorial team and our extensive pool of freelance experts source and test products with the sole purpose of finding the equipment that can make the job of an IT decision-maker that little bit easier. We review all products from this perspective and also provide additional insight with features and guides for purchase, installation, and troubleshooting.
Our reviewers take their time to rigorously test each product, putting laptops, printers, desktop servers, and more through a range of benchmarks to give our audience the information they need to make purchasing decisions. From the quality of a laptop’s display to the storage capacity of a cloud backup program, we leave no stone unturned when it comes to the performance of the products we review.
