Cost of a data breach report 2024
Strengthen security defenses and drive innovation

IBM’s annual Cost of a Data Breach Report provides security and IT leaders with crucial insights that can help them better manage risk and limit potential losses.
The newly released 2024 report, created in partnership Ponemon Institute, studied breached organizations from 16 countries and regions, and across 17 industries.
While the report’s findings suggest some damages from a breach are unavoidable, they also highlight several risk areas that security teams can and should address.
The findings also underscore the growing importance of security AI and automation for mitigating breach impacts and lowering breach costs.
