With 30+ year career spanning technology sales, marketing and channel development. Andrew (Andy) has lived and worked in Paris, Munich and the UK, with broad experience of winning business in Europe and the Middle East.
His career has taken him all over EMEA and has taught him one guiding principle: To enable others to get what they want, one has to spend the time helping them to truly understand what it is they are trying to achieve. Then - together - plot, and commit to, a path that will gets them there and beyond. If the products and services offered fit the desired outcomes, you have a solution. If not, well then at least you've helped someone to be more successful and that, always, pays out eventually.
Andy works hard to understand the technologies he is responsible for. A veteran public speaker he tries to 'socialise' the product - make its 'speeds & feeds' more meaningful; to show the customer how the technology will bring about desired business outcomes.
This approach has led to millions of dollars in sales of IT hardware, software and services. People from the Media and Entertainment, Fintech, Pharmaceutical, HPC, Cloud, Industrial, Education and Government markets are seeking Andrew out to advise on how to build, deploy and drive the most value from their data infrastructure.
Andy has led teams of people, across broad geographies, remote and office based, and those leading others. Agreeing the mission, setting guidelines and a review process and being the best coach possible has meant he has been able to help others to be very successful.
