Dennis Frank
Dennis Frank is the vice president of strategic partners and alliances EMEA at Hitachi Vantara, where he is responsible for designing and executing the company’s partner strategy across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.
Under his leadership, Hitachi Vantara’s EMEA channel business has achieved consistent double-digit growth and increased its channel mix to 75% in the region, with a strategic goal to reach 90% over the next three years.
A champion of a partner-first approach, Frank has been instrumental in defining co-selling strategies, prioritizing indirect selling, and expanding investments in partner management, inside sales, and marketing funds.
His current growth strategy focuses on maximizing market coverage and achieving 15% to 20% annual growth. This includes expanding deep into the Middle East - evidenced by building a burgeoning partner ecosystem and a new distribution partner in the region - and collaborating with Global System Integrators and Hitachi subsidiaries (such as Hitachi Energy and Hitachi Rail) on large-scale infrastructure projects in the UAE and Saudi Arabia.
Frank’s leadership and Hitachi Vantara’s regional success have driven high-profile joint ventures and international collaboration. Last year he was invited to meet His Majesty King Abdullah II and His Royal Highness Crown Prince Hussein of Jordan to discuss how Hitachi Vantara's artificial intelligence (AI) and IoT expertise are accelerating digital transformation in the country.
With a career spanning 26 years in the IT industry, Frank began his journey in direct sales as a Territory Account Manager before joining the channel division at Hitachi Data Systems. Over the last two decades, he has held various pivotal leadership roles within the company, including leading the German sales organization, where he successfully expanded both private and public sector business through partner ecosystems.
Frank holds a degree in Business Administration & Engineering from South Westphalia University of Applied Sciences in Germany. He is based in Duesseldorf, Germany.
