Microsoft Office 2010 beta to arrive in November
Betas for Office 2010 and SharePoint Server 2010 will arrive next month.


Microsoft has unveiled that the public betas for Office 2010 and SharePoint Server 2010 will arrive next month.
The actual release date for the the final versions of the products is yet to be revealed, but Microsoft has said Office 2010 will arrive by the first half of next year.
SharePoint Server 2010 will feature a new ribbon interface similar to that arriving in Office. It will also bring tagging, more integration and document management, Microsoft said, as well as including Silverlight support and new APIs for web development.
Microsoft Visual Studio 2010, which saw its second beta arrive today, will also feature new SharePoint tools.
