Sony Ericsson has launched the Xperia Pro on the eve of the official start date of Mobile World Congress 2011 (MWC) in Barcelona.
Although more renowned for its consumer devices, the Xperia Pro is aimed at those wanting to combine both work and personal lives in one handset.
Running the latest version of Google's Android mobile operating system 2.3 or Gingerbread' the handset comes pre-loaded with Office Suite Pro. This enables users to view and edit Office documents while on the move.
The Xperia Pro also features a slide-out QWERTY keyboard, 3.8in capacitive touch screen, a 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, up to 320MB of memory and an HD camera.
It is expected to start shipping towards the end of the second quarter and will come in black, red and silver.

Sony Ericsson also launched a number of consumer handsets at its MWC event, including the Xperia PLAY the much anticipated PlayStation phone the Xperia Neo and the Xperia Arc.
