Event: The 11th Cloud Circle Forum

cloud computing

WHEN:Thursday 5 July 2012 (08.30 17.45)

WHERE:One America Square Conference Centre, central London

The Cloud Circle has labelled 2012 as the year the cloud goes mainstream' and as more and more organisations are realising business agility and innovation through the cloud, canny business, IT and finance chiefs are viewing the cloud as a powerful weapon in the battle for competitive advantage. And they are looking to build strategic partnerships with a more visionary, business aligned and service orientated IT function to realise these aspirations.

Many of you reading this will work for organisations that have already made their first forays onto the cloud. It's likely that these initiatives will have been IT led. You've doubtless welcomed good cost savings from these deployments but can you honestly say that your organisation has exploited the potential of cloud computing for value creation, innovation and competitive advantage?

So whether you are on the cloud, in the process of moving data or applications to the cloud, or just considering a move to the cloud, how do you go about exploiting the full promise of the cloud?

Attend the 11th Cloud Circle Forum on 5 July and you will discuss debate and explore the following key issues with peers and experts:

What are the areas of cloud computing that the business must take ownership of to realise value creation, innovation and competitive advantage?

What are savvy business leaders doing differently to realise success in their cloud initiatives?

Why whoever harnesses the power of the cloud is uniquely placed to impact on the business;

How can you protect yourself and your organisation from cloud punishment and liability?

Why its so important to re-position cloud computing as a new way of doing things rather than a technology initiative;

How IT personnel must evolve to meet the challenges of becoming a more value add, service orientated function;

How should the business and IT work together to realise success?

The sessions are workshop' style and interactive. This means that you and eight peers will have the opportunity to explore in detail a specific cloud focused topic relative to the session title. After 20 minutes of discussion one table representative then presents the findings to all attendees so you receive maximum learning.

Attendees include more than 120 end-user practitioners from the UK, all pre-qualified to a level of seniority and actively involved in cloud computing across all vertical markets.
