Canon ImageFormula DR-6030C review
Canon's latest production scanner can do no wrong as Simon Handby discovers in our review.
The DR-6030C is reasonably priced for a production scanner, efficient and likely to prove highly reliable. It's easy to use, and easy to clear paper jams should they ever happen. As such, it's ideal for any organisation needing a user-friendly scanner capable of handling significant volumes.

Canon claims class-leading energy efficiency for this scanner, with a 46-watt operating power consumption. In our tests it used a maximum of only 22W, dropping to just 2W on standby. It's not tricky or expensive to maintain, either, with the only consumable being an exchange roller kit rated at 250,000 scans a monthly job at worst.
Verdict
The DR-6030C is reasonably priced for a production scanner, efficient and likely to prove highly reliable. It's easy to use, and easy to clear paper jams should they ever happen. As such, it's ideal for any organisation needing a user-friendly scanner capable of handling significant volumes.
