Who is your tech hero? And why?
Steve Jobs - and for a long time before the iPod for being able to develop technology that people love to use.
I started in architecture and drifted into IT because I could solve problems and organise delivery of solutions.
What does your current role involve?
I have responsibility for all technology at Bidwells, aligning technology with the business, enabling our professionals to work efficiently anywhere and anytime.

I was aware of the firm as I live in the area and when the opportunity arose I applied for the role and was successful.
Did you always want to work in IT?
No. I started in architecture and drifted into IT because I could solve problems and organise delivery of solutions.
What do you enjoy most about your role/working in IT?
Strategy and figuring out how to adopt new technologies to suit our business needs.
And what is your least favourite aspect about your role/working in IT?
Lack of innovation around the desktop OS.
