Orange has revamped its broadband packages to offer up to 20Mbps broadband to all its consumers.

The 20Mbps download speed will become standard for its home packages, that have also gone through changes of their own.

Orange has introduced a new offering called Home Ultra which will include Orange's Livebox wireless router enabling connections for up to six computers at one time. Coming in at 10.50 a month for Orange mobile pay monthly customers, it will also include anytime inclusive calls to UK landlines.

Orange's original Home Max package, with wireless router, will now include inclusive evening and weekend UK landline calls. The package will be free for the first three months and 6.50 thereafter for Orange mobile pay monthly customers. There is also a 10.50 line rental fee each month.

The final addition is the company's new "no frills" options, Orange's Home Starter and Home Select price plans. The former offers both landline and wireless home broadband including inclusive evening and weekend calls to UK landlines whereas the latter offers purely broadband from 9 a month.

The new packages, which may prove attractive to home workers and smaller business set-ups as well as consumers, and 20Mbps broadband are available immediately.
