All we want for Christmas...

If Santa can't quite afford to stretch to a Drobo this year, perhaps he could get me something slightly cheaper that would equally fill me with festive tech spirit.

I am a massive fan of netbooks and the one which has won me over the most in the past few months is the Samsung N230. Ok, it isn't the best of the best but the stunning battery life and sleek styling makes it the portable PC you want to have comfortably slid into your bag on a businesses trip.

HTC Desire HD

I do adore my original HTC Desire but after getting my hands on the upgraded model, it is hard to look back.

The HTC Desire HD has a pretty sizeable screen, which may put off some users, but it worked so fantastically and was the first mobile I genuinely felt happy watching TV shows or films on.

The light weight handset with reactive screen and the beautiful Android 2.2 operating system would keep me happy this Christmas, regardless of any kisses under the mistletoe.

Amazon Kindle

I tend to get piles of books in my stocking at this time of year but perhaps in stead of giving me paperbacks this year, Saint Nicholas could stretch to an e-book reader?

I know there is a plethora now on the market but for me, nothing quite tops the Kindle. Easy to carry, a fantastic screen, which is easy on the eyes, and an ever-growing number of titles for purchase, you cannot top this product from the biggest name in online retail.

The only thing I would probably ask to be thrown in was some vouchers for the e-books themselves as they are still a little pricey, but I am confident this will come down in time.
