Aidan Finn

Aidan Finn, Microsoft Most Valuable Professional (MVP), has been working in IT since 1996. He has worked as a consultant and administrator for the likes of Innofactor Norway, Amdahl DMR, Fujitsu, Barclays and Hypo Real Estate Bank International where he dealt with large and complex IT infrastructures and MicroWarehouse Ltd. where he worked with Microsoft partners in the small/medium business space. Aidan has worked in the server hosting and outsourcing industry in Ireland where he focused on server management, including VMware ESX, Hyper-V, and Microsoft System Center. Currently, Aidan is employed by Innofactor Norway, a Microsoft Partner specialising in Microsoft cloud services consulting, as a Principal Consultant working with mid-large Nordic organisations on Microsoft Azure. Aidan has been an MVP for 15 years. He currently holds the status with Microsoft Azure. He has previously been a Hyper-V and a System Center Configuration Manager MVP. Aidan has worked closely with Microsoft, including online interviews, launch events, and has worked as a Technical Reviewer for a new Microsoft training course on virtualisation. He is also a Contributing Editor on the Petri IT Knowledgebase, specialising in Microsoft virtualisation and Microsoft Azure. When Aidan isn’t at work he’s out and about with camera in hand trying to be a photographer. Aidan was the lead author or contributor to books such as Windows Server 2012 Hyper-V Installation and Configuration Guide, Mastering Windows 7 Deployment, Microsoft Private Cloud Computing, Mastering Hyper-V Deployment, and Mastering Windows Server 2008 R2.
