BT extends Infinity broadband to more locations
The 40Mbps connections are being spread across four more towns as the superfast broadband rollout continues.

BT has announced four more towns will receive the benefits of superfast broadband in their homes.
Residents of Burley in Yorkshire, Capel in Surrey, Lindfield in West Sussex and Marton in Warwickshire will get access to BT Infinity 40Mbps connections by early 2012, the company has announced.
BT had been running a competition entitled Race for Infinity to enable communities to vote for their towns to be the next locations for the speedy broadband.
It announced the initial six winners back in January but has decided to extend this, in response to customer demand.
The idea of 40Mbps may be music to the ears of some rural locations but the speeds are still behind BT's main competitor, Virgin Media.
Richard Branson's broadband division offers 50Mbps to more than 12 million homes across the UK and is trialling speeds of up to 200Mbps in some areas.
BT is ramping up its own efforts but the telecoms giant has only reached the 100Mbps mark. It does claim, however, it is making more of an effort than its competitor to connect rural areas to superfast broadband.
