ViewSonic may have only just launched new devices at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) back in January, but the company saved a tasty little business morsel for this week's Mobile World Congress (MWC) event.
The ViewPad 10pro is a 10.1in tablet device designed for the corporate user. It runs dual operating systems of Windows 7 and Android but, unlike the previous edition, users can switch between the two in just one second thanks to a soft-button on the home screen.
"Windows 7 is far from perfect for the consumer, but for business it makes this tablet more [accessible] for users," Derek Wright, product marketing manager in Europe for ViewSonic, told IT PRO.
"It is almost a dream for IT professionals wanting to include a portable device into their business network."
Weighing in at 800g, it is a little heavier than some of the more consumer-focused tablets launched at MWC, but with Intel's Oak trail 1.5GHz processor and full sized USB ports, it might be more tempting.
Other features of the tablet include a 1.3 megapixel front facing camera for video calls, 32GB of storage, a microSD slot for a further 32GB and 1080p video playback.
