HP and Microsoft plan to start offering business transformation services for the public sector and automotive and financial services industries by combining select products.

HP's Business Process-as-a-Service (BPaaS) solutions will be offered alongside Microsoft Dynamics to help organisations transform their digital, mobile and social interactions with their customers.

Hayden Stafford, vice president of enterprise sales, Microsoft Business Solutions, said: "The combination of industry leading Microsoft Dynamics solutions and HP experience and expertise will result in specific industry focused IP that represent great value and opportunity to organizations looking to accelerate the delivery of products and services to market."

For the public sector, services will include Case Management to help keep business processes in order such as licence and permit management, grants management and law enforcement. In addition, Social Benefits Administration and Citizen Services will include multi-channel access for citizen communication with government agency departments.

In the financial sector, companies will be able to use HP and Microsoft's joint services to modernise and automate many of their bank networks, lending systems and sales team software to offer more efficient services to customers. Banks will also be able to integrate legacy systems with new datacentres.

The Automotive Aftersales Customer Experience Management is the only solution offered to the sector at present and will help ensure sales and service departments in the car industry are aligned.

Anthone Withers, director and general manager of Microsoft Business Applications, Enterprise Services, said: "No trend has impacted business and government as much or as quickly as the drive to digital. Our BPaaS solutions allow clients to rapidly move to the digital world by modernizing existing applications and simplifying the process to deliver a better client experience.”
