Aruba Central receives FedRAMP "In Process" designation
The service becomes the first all-in-one network solution to receive such designation

Aruba, a Hewlett Packard Enterprise company, announced the Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program (FedRAMP) program has given Aruba Central a formal “In Process” designation.
This makes it the first FedRAMP-certified, AI-powered solution for unified WLAN, switching, VPN, and WAN cloud infrastructure.
FedRAMP is a US government program that promotes the adoption of secure cloud services through a standardized approach to authorization, continuous monitoring, security and risk assessment for cloud products and services.
It allows government agencies to quickly transition to secure and cost-effective cloud-based IT. FedRAMP’s mission is to “promote the adoption of secure cloud services across the Federal Government by providing a standardized approach to security and risk assessment.”
“As government agencies look to leverage the numerous benefits offered by cloud services, they are required to use solutions that have been stringently evaluated and approved for off-site use through the FedRAMP process,” said Jon Green, vice president and chief security technologist at Aruba.“
At Aruba, delivering secure network solutions is in our DNA and securing the first “in process” status from this critical program for an all-in-one networking solution reflects our commitment to providing customers with not just the capabilities they need, but confidence in the solutions they deploy.”
Aruba provides secure, intelligent, edge-to-cloud networking solutions, using AI to automate the network and employing data to drive business outcomes.
Aruba Central is an AI-based cloud networking solution that simplifies network management, deployment and optimization. It combines “streamlined workflows, centralized monitoring and control, built-in AIOps, detailed alerts, reporting, and troubleshooting” to save companies’ time and resources.
