It is highly likely that the iPhone 7 family will run on the as-yet-unreleased iOS 10.

Despite iOS 10 not yet being announced, we are confident this year's iPhone range will run on this new OS as Apple has, for nearly a decade, released a new version of iOS at its annual WWDC conference in June. When the latest flagship phone is released three months later (or, historically, at the same time), it runs the new OS straight out of the box.

iOS 10 is expected to be announced during Tim Cook's opening keynote on 13 June, potentially alongside OS X 10.12 and tvOS 10 and maybe even WatchOS 3.
