Deloitte Canada acquires SAP consultancy firm Clockwork
The acquisition builds on Deloitte’s SAP Enterprise Solutions offering
Deloitte Canada has acquired SAP consultancy firm Clockwork for an undisclosed sum.
The acquisition will help Deloitte Canada strengthen its SaaS solution deployment, cloud migration, and custom application development. Clockwork will also help grow the firm's partnerships with cloud providers Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
"It should come as no surprise that we're excited to have the Clockwork team join Deloitte," said Anthony Viel, Deloitte Canada CEO.
Viel continued, "Apart from expanding our presence as a leading Canadian SAP consultancy, Clockwork's recognized brand and experienced leaders are an especially important aspect of this move, one that is sure to strengthen our SAP technical skills, assets, and market leadership in the space."
In addition to enhancing Deloitte's SAP and cloud transformation offerings across a range of verticals, the addition of Clockwork will help the firm serve a new market of clients in the public and private sectors.
The SAP Enterprise Solutions practice of Deloitte Canada will add 45 employees from Clockwork to its Toronto, Montreal, and Calgary offices. The co-founder and former president of Clockwork, Mike Roach, will join the firm as a new partner.
