Twitter unveils real-time search for all
Twitter now has search results on home pages – could this mean ads on the site are a step closer?

Twitter has integrated real-time search for all users, following the successful trial of Twitter Search and Trends on the signed-in home pages of a limited set of accounts.
The search capability makes it easier for users to search for the real-time tweets from people and organisations around the world.
In addition to Twitter Search, users can also look up trending phrases' certain words and phrases that occur more frequently.
This also means that Twitter can build a fresh timeline of updates based on a particular word or phrase, and allows users to save what they've found.
The new search capabilities could be a step towards monetising the site, as adverts could potentially be placed alongside the searches Google-style.
