Wikipedia site recovers from crash
The website that holds all the answers experienced unidentified ‘technical difficulties’ this afternoon.
Online encyclopedia website Wikipedia briefly crashed this afternoon.
When the site went down, users trying to access it received an error message saying: "This wiki has a problem."
It said that the site was experiencing technical difficulties and to either wait a few minutes or reload, but neither seemed to solve the problem at the time.
The site directed users to Google while it was down.
IT PRO contacted Wikipedia to ask them what had happened but there was no reply.
