Green IT shows green shoots
If Tesco is using IT to promote environmental efficiency, the rest of the industry should take notice.

CIOs and IT directors should be at the forefront of promoting more efficient, and greener, ways of work. Of course, if the wider business is to take this seriously, they also need to put their own house in order, especially when it comes to energy use in the data centre. That's no bad thing, either.
