The Printer Dashboard is clearly a work in progress.
However, the Printer Dashboard is clearly a work in progress. We'd have appreciated more direct control over each device, such as the ability to change the names of devices. Error messages should also be clearer, and better use could be made of the cost data. Similarly, British currency options would be extremely useful, as would UK links for buying consumables.
Verdict
The Printer Dashboard provides a useful overview of your printers, but doesn't provide as much control as we'd like which hopefully we'll see in future versions. Still, if you manage a large number of printers then Printer Dashboard will be a useful tool that's definitely worth using, especially as it's free.
