Snapchat now allows you to display subscriber numbers
This update will help companies to show their influence on their industries
Snapchat has added a new feature that allows users to display the number of followers or subscribers they have. Users can function on or off as they please. The addition of the subscribers display option was first reported by Tubefilter.
A Snapchat spokesperson said, “We’ve listened to feedback from our creator community and many of them expressed interest in having the option to show that their community on Snapchat is growing, So, starting today, we are giving creators the option to make subscriber counts visible on their public profiles…We understand not every creator wants to have public metrics visible to their fans. Therefore, creators can choose to toggle this metric on and off as needed in their settings.”
Subscriber numbers are important to companies, as they allow companies to show their strength and influence in an industry. It shows that your message is reaching others and you’re an influencer on some level.
This addition follows September’s news that Snapchat would let creators build permanent profiles in the same manner as “Snap Stars,” a group of Snapchat accounts the company handpicked due to their success.
In another user-friendly move, Snapchat announced a partnership with Headspace back in June to provide users with access to mental help and meditation.
