US government stresses importance of cyber hygiene
All users, not just the private and public sector, have the responsibility for cyber security. according to the US government.

The US government has urged all users, not just industry and government, to practice good "cyber hygiene".
It's a call for users to protect themselves and their families online whether at home, at work and at school.
Our shared responsibility' was the theme of the National Cybersecurity Awareness Month, created to remind citizens as well as the private and public sector on how to guard against cyber threats.
On the eve of the month, the US senate passed Resolution 285', which supported efforts to make citizens more aware of how to secure the internet.
