Datto launches its business continuity solution for Azure
Datto Continuity for Microsoft Azure helps MSPs recover data within minutes of an outage

Datto has announced the general availability of its end-to-end business continuity and disaster recovery (BCDR) solution on Microsoft zure.
According to the company, Datto Continuity for Microsoft Azure helps prevent data loss and downtime caused by ransomware and public cloud outages.
Custom-built for managed service providers (MSPs), the solution safeguards data in both on-premises and Azure virtual machine (VM) environments. Capable of multi-cloud replication, the platform also eliminates security concerns associated with single-cloud deployments.
Commenting on data recovery time, Datto said its BCDR solution allows MSPs to reinstate Azure workloads within minutes of service interruption. Azure and Datto's immutable private cloud are two ways businesses can backup and restore their data.
Furthermore, Datto Continuity for Microsoft Azure’s patented screenshot verification technology ensures backup integrity via automated boot checks. Lastly, its predictive pricing model helps businesses plan ahead and avoid unforeseen operating costs.
“The ongoing cyberwar against ransomware underscores the importance of closing the gap in security for MSPs utilizing the public cloud,” said Radhesh Menon, chief product officer at Datto.
