Box now wants to drive your digital initiatives
Box Transform will put a digital transformation specialist into enterprises to help their cloudy efforts
Box is making it easier for businesses to transform their digital efforts with the launch of Box Transform, a consultancy service that guides enterprises through the process of moving to the cloud.
Forming part of the company's Box Consulting division, the service will place a consultant into an organisation, with the responsibility to drive the business's implementation of cloud-hosted content management, transform business processes and integrate Box's services with other tools the company may need for their digital efforts.
By putting consultants into a company's environment, Box thinks its advisors can better understand the company's culture and business as a whole, creating custom solutions for their particular department or entire organisation and making the solution fits them perfectly.
Box Transform will ensure the right people for the job are put into the right roles with its vast array of knowledge resources and the consultants will use agile methodologies to speed up to process of innovation. They will also be tasked with building a long-term content strategy and this will be integrated with Box Skills, the cloud service's machine learning capabilities due to launch next year.
"As enterprises move to the cloud, content has become a critical component of how companies get work done every day and we've seen huge demand from our customers to leverage Box in new ways that directly impact their core business," said Stephanie Carullo, COO of Box.
"Box Transform ensures that customers can leverage their content to generate strategic insights, automate processes, and ultimately accelerate innovation. As a leader in cloud content management, Box is uniquely positioned to be the trusted advisor on how to unlock the value of content, save costs, and embrace digital transformation."
The new program is available today, which includes a free workshop on Cloud Content Management Transformation designed to help customers assess current cloud strategies before they begin their transformation process.

Box revealed to Cloud Pro in April that the company was looking to introduce AI to further help companies transform their business practices in an effort to become more compliant in time for GDPR.
The company enjoyed a significant revenue boost in the third quarter of 2017, reporting growth of 26% to $129.3 million (96 million), however, increased spending meant profits were down year-over-year. This immediately prompted a share price fall of 8.5% as investors became skittish over the prospect Box would lose its cash flow positive status.
