BlackBerry 10 OS review

The selection of apps available for BB10 users is the operating system's biggest drawback, as those that make the jump from iOS and Android are sure to be disappointed by the limited array that are currently available.

BlackBerry launched its BlackBerry World App Store with 70,000 available. Although this is someway short of the 800,000 available in Apple's or Google's ecosystem, this was the largest repository that any new platform has launched with.

The Canadian firm has also recently announced that the likes of WhatsApp and Skype will be arriving in the BlackBerry World store soon, and that a 1,000 new apps are being added every day.

So, hopefully, this is a situation that should improve in the not too distant future.
