Introducing the IT Pro Leader Board

With more than 13 years' experience within the legal sector delivering enterprise solutions, Vlad Botic is an enterprise architect currently working with Norton Rose delivering technology innovation to the group.

Prior to joining Norton Rose, Vlad worked in various countries in Europe, designing and managing delivery of bespoke solutions. This international experience has provided a holistic view of the implications information security management systems can have on global organisations.

Working with Norton Rose, Vlad has been able to use his experience to aid the design and implementation of systems, while driving innovation through technology in all areas of the business.

One big impact of delivery of systems within organisations today is the unavoidable introduction of consumer-based products that are creating challenges not only in their delivery and support, but also the impact they have on security.

Vlad is currently researching this area and is passionate about finding resolutions to the problems many organisations face when it comes to implementing information security management systems. His research has found that, today, organisations are struggling to accept the changes in the way the modern IT systems are delivered and this has had a big impact on security and overall business agility - the importance of which cannot be underestimated in today's modern environment.
