In less than one year, Mimecast has certified a quarter of its UK channel partners allowing them to handle cloud migration projects for the vendor.
To qualify as a Mimecast Certified Technical Specialist, channel partners must have at least four technical consultants with completed certification training.
According to Nessa Lynchehaun, channel director at Mimecast, the certification training success is twofold channel partners gain skills to manage cloud migration on behalf of Mimecast, which can also lead to an increase in sales, while customers have confidence in dealing with a certification brand.
“We found many Mimecast customers want to benefit from cloud services but don’t have the skills in-house to manage the migration. We have worked with our channel partners to build this certification training so that they can manage cloud projects for our customers, reducing any barriers to migration,” adds Lynchehaun.
