Cloud Distribution has signed a sole distribution agreement with WatchDox, a secure file sharing and collaboration provider.

In April, WatchDox opened its first UK office to support EMEA expansion and appointed Former A10 Networks executive Mark Edge as its new regional vice president of sales. The firm also opened an EMEA support centre to provide 24-hour support year-round for enterprise customers and global organisations.

The deal strengthens Cloud Distribution’s portfolio which includes cloud managed Wi-Fi, mobile device management and advanced security software tools. And according to Adam Davison, director at Cloud Distribution: “The addition of WatchDox means that our Enterprise Mobility stack can deliver a complete solution for resellers to offer their end users, all of whom are striving to prevent data loss, mitigate security breaches and meet compliance regulations.”

WatchDox views itself as an enterprise replacement for consumer grade file sharing products like Dropbox. According to Ryan Kalember, chief product officer at WatchDox, the selection of Cloud Distribution was based on “it’s rich IT security credentials and expertise in introducing new technologies to the UK market, Cloud Distribution was the obvious choice for WatchDox.”
