AV distributor Steljes has strengthened its projector range with the addition of Hitachi Digital Media’s portfolio of LCD projectors.
Ioan Williams, UK B2B sales manager says he expects Steljes to bring the incremental business that Hitachi seeks in the UK: “Hitachi has ambitions to be the number one LCD projector manufacturer in the UK market and we felt to achieve this we needed to make some changes.”
He explains: “Steljes has demonstrated considerable growth within the UK projector market through a strong sales team and innovative reseller marketing activities. When you combine this with their success with SMART products within both the education and corporate markets, it makes sense to align Hitachi’s market leading education projectors with the market leading interactive whiteboard brand.”
Martine Dodwell-Bennett, group sales and business development director at Steljes adds that the addition of the Hitachi range complements the disti’s existing relationships, which in addition to SMART, include BenQ, Epson and NEC.
