Arista partners look for an A-plus

Two hands shaking over a desk

Arista Networks has announced the launch of its EMEA channel programme, the Arista Networks A-Plus Partner Programme.

The firm says the programme – an adaption of its US programme – is “a more pro-active approach to what was already in place in the region”. It features Registered, Authorised and Elite tiers, depending on partner commitment and investment in sales.

Although Arista wouldn’t be drawn on partner numbers, it confirmed it had between eight and 12 Elite and Authorised partners going through accreditation in the UK, with more Authorised partners than Elite. Partners at the Authorised and Elite levels will receive training and access to sales and marketing collateral and support, says the vendor.

“With the EMEA LAN switching market experiencing the change from 1GbE to 10GbE, there has never been a more exciting time to foster relationships with capable partners who have expertise in the market,” says Dave Watkins, regional sales director EMEA at Arista Networks.

“Our new EMEA programme cements our commitment to the channel, our sole route to market in the region, and provides the foundations to enable our partners to grow with us. We have designed the programme with both our partners and customers in mind, providing a solid framework that attracts a select number of specialist partners to better serve our end users.”

Arista says the new programme will offer VARs benefits including deal registration, technical training forums, joint marketing, a partner portal and competitive incentives and rewards.
