Juniper names Gerard Allison new EMEA channel chief
Gerard Allison to replace David Helfer as Juniper’s VP of partners in EMEA

Juniper Networks (NYSE:JNPR) has confirmed the appointment of Gerard Allison as its new VP of partners for EMEA.
He replaces David Helfer, who recently moved back to the US to head up Juniper’s worldwide channels and commercial business.
In his new role, Allison (pictured) will be responsible for the structure, management and performance of Juniper’s channel and commercial business across the region.
“The partner business has always been close to my heart, and I am really looking forward to the challenge of leading Juniper’s EMEA team to success,” says Allison.
“I believe the quality of our channel organisation and partners is crucial to helping customers build the best networks in pursuit of their business aspirations.”
The British exec – a 14-year Juniper veteran who most recently held the position of VP of enterprise in EMEA – will report to Sean Dolan, Juniper’s senior vice president in EMEA.
“Juniper’s Partner Advantage programme continues to provide our partners with the tools they need to succeed,” comments Dolan. “In 2014, with Juniper sales and partners working as one team, we will ensure our go-to-market structure remains strong and effective, particularly for our continued push into the security, mobility and datacentre markets.
