CMS Distribution has signed a deal to add The Bunker to its roster of security vendors.
The distie says that The Bunker provides “ultra secure hosting, cloud, colocation and IT services from within the UK’s most secure facilities”.
CMS says it was keen to focus more of its software portfolio, and add to its existing relationship with Commvault.
Tierna Henry, group software manager at CMS Distribution, says that the tie-up not only would boost the distie’s security and storage footprint but would also help it enter into the cloud marketplace.
“For some time we have had clients asking us for an off-premise Commvault solution and finally we have the answer,” she says.
“With The Bunker's ‘Ultra Secure' strapline and plentiful certifications to boot, they can proudly boast to own some of the most secure IT services in the UK. In agreement with our partner Commvault, we will be talking to all of our existing clients to offer this complement.”
CMS recently partnered with Barracuda Networks and has a number of other vendors “waiting in the wings,” according to Henry.

CMS Distribution has invested in its software team over the past six months, increasing headcount within the team which it says proves the commitment for growth and that the company is “serious about helping their partners to grow their business”.
