Atlantis Computing names new senior sales team

New & Old sign

Atlantis Computing has made a number of appointments to its senior leadership team, with four promotions covering key global, North American and EMEA roles.

David Cumberworth has been promoted to worldwide VP of sales after his previous role as VP of international sales, responsible for the growth of the business in EMEA and APAC. His new role will see him lead the global sales organisation.

Chris Plant (pictured) has been appointed vice president of EMEA after five years within the Atlantis EMEA team, having previously led the northern Europe sales operation.

Elsewhere, Rajiv Pimplaskar becomes the vice president of global accounts, and Timm Hoyt becomes VP of sales in North America. He joined Atlantis a year ago as VP of worldwide partner sales and alliances.

“I am delighted to see that these senior appointments are all coming from within our existing team,” says Chetan Venkatash, president and CEO of Atlantis. “David, Rajiv, Timm and Chris are each ideally placed to drive customer and partner adoption of Atlantis USX SDS and HyperScale hyperconverged appliance solutions on a global and regional basis. I look forward to continuing to work with them for many years to come.”
