Siemens appoints Marc Aghili VP of indirect channel sales and business development in EMEA and Asia-Pacific

Siemens Enterprise Communications has today announced the appointment of Marc Aghili as the company’s VP of indirect channel sales and business development for the region.
Aghili will be responsible for managing the firm’s indirect channel, defining and implementing business development, demand generation, product and service promotion campaigns, indirect sales activities, and its two-tier channel programme. He will report to EMEA and APAC general manager Wolfram Fischer.
Aghili joins the company from Volkswagen Financial Services US Entity, where he developed the services business with local car dealerships. For four years prior to this, he was responsible for increasing the business to business insurance and services portfolio as national sales and business development director at Assurant Solutions, a provider of specialised insurance products and services.
Aghili also spent 10 years at HP in global and regional marketing, sales and business development functions, focusing on multi-tiered distribution channels.
Says Aghili: “I look forward to bringing my experience in business development within leading global enterprises to help the company strive toward new goals, further grow and develop the UC market share in the indirect channel sector, and achieve further successes across the EMEA and Asia Pacific regions.”
