O2 names Barclay Communications top partner
Barclay Communications gets even closer to O2 by topping the mobile operator’s Centre of Excellence (CoE) partner league table.
Belfast-based Barclay Communications has topped O2’s Centre of Excellence (CoE) partner league table.
This is a result, says the firm, of its growing allegiance with the mobile operator. In April of this year Barclay ended contracts with all other UK network providers in favour of becoming an exclusive O2 partner.
Says Adrian McCourt director of Barclay Communications: “Over the last year we have really upped our commitment and investment in the O2 brand. Our team has expanded, and we have created more specialised customer service departments for our clients. This result is a real credit to our teams’ hard work, and our new clients trust in our reputable service.”
To calculate the partner league table, O2 measures all COE partners’ new connections, Bolt Ons, ARP and churn and Barclay Communications’ numbers were top of the table.
Says Maggie Kennedy, head of O2 Partnerships: “Barclay Communications is a Centre of Excellence partner which leads in voice, data and customer service. Its business ethos is the same as that of O2 - in turning customers into fans and this is evident throughout the account.”
To Barclay Communications’ surprise, the iPhone topped its new connections, knocking RIM’s BlackBerry smartphone down to number two, and Nokia to number three. Interesting results, says Barclay, considering it only serves business customers.
