Communications company TeleWare has unveiled a new channel programme for the recruitment of 30 additional resellers to bring TeleWare Mobile services, launched last week, to the UK business market.

As a new Mobile Virtual Network Operator (MVNO), TeleWare Mobile will provide network services specifically designed for business. The Yorkshire-based firm describes it as a convergence of fixed and mobile networks with common and seamless switching for both fixed and mobile calls, combined with a core of centrally delivered applications.

“Initial figures from beta customers indicate savings in the region of 20 to 30 percent are available to businesses simply by changing their SIM card to automatically route calls through fixed or mobile networks for cost savings,” explains Steve Haworth, CEO of TeleWare.

TeleWare Mobile will integrate mobiles into standard business capabilities, such as IVR and Auto Attendant services, with all calls to mobiles linked to the business’s existing call management systems. The network supports standard mobile data options, such as internet and mail connections, as well as advanced features such as Push-to-Talk (PTT), call recording and policy-based call routing.

“Our channel partners can work with us to implement applications directly into the network layer to build unique solutions for their customers,” explains Haworth.

“As any system integrator will tell you, working with mobile carriers can be challenging, even when you are representing the largest international customers – TeleWare Mobile is going to partner with a relatively small and highly skilled channel community to create distinctive solutions aimed at both small and large business across a number of key vertical markets.”

Introductory seminars will be held at the TeleWare headquarters offices in Thirsk and Harbour Exchange offices in London Docklands.
