LogRhythm names new channel marketeer

LogRhythm has appointed a new channel marketing manager for international markets to help the firm’s partners capitalise on growing demand for Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) solutions.

Harjot Panesar (pictured) joins LogRhythm from ActivIdentity, where she was responsible for EMEA marketing and promoting the company’s channel partner programme. She is tasked with building on LogRhythm’s own recently launched channel programme.

The vendor says its continuing expansion will see it double its EMEA team in 2012, as well as increase the number of new partners joining LogRhythm Connect – although it doesn’t provide any figures as to its existing headcount or channel partners. The growth, it claims however, is driven by the rising demand for next generation SIEM technology in the region, with analyst firm Frost & Sullivan predicting demand for SIEM solutions in the UK and mainland Europe will grow substantially to reach $359m by 2014.

“We’re delighted to welcome Harjot to LogRhythm, and her wealth of industry experience will certainly be vital to our continued growth and success,” says Stuart Quinsey, director of channels EMEA at LogRhythm. “Harjot’s experience in designing and implementing impressive channel programmes across the EMEA region will ensure that our partners are able to capitalise on the opportunities that SIEM presents in the marketplace.”

“With so many competitors recently acquired by big vendors we will focus on illustrating the company’s unwavering commitment to our partners,” adds Panesar. “SIEM solutions are a flexible addition to the other technologies in our partners’ existing portfolios, and perfect for plugging the gaps left between point technologies.”
