Vormetric has named security industry veteran Louise Bulman as its VP and general manager for EMEA.
Bulman joins Vormetric from ForeScout, where she was regional vice president for EMEA. Her previous roles include head of security sales and delivery, Europe for Nokia Siemens Networks and managing director, UK and Ireland for McAfee.
Reporting directly to the company’s VP of global sales, Stephen Driggers, Bulman will be responsible for driving Vormetric’s growth in the region, as well as supporting and developing its partner channel.
“Louise joins Vormetric at a very exciting time in our company’s development,” says Driggers. “With her record of increasing profitability, productivity and growth, coupled with her expertise in the security industry, Louise will be a vital asset to the company.”
Adds Bulman: “As businesses become increasingly threat-aware, they simply must start thinking more carefully about what security technologies best defend data.
“Going above and beyond perimeter and endpoint security defences, Vormetric arms enterprises with the data encryption, access controls, tokenisation and monitoring capabilities they need to protect sensitive company information from internal and external threats, regardless of where it resides. What’s more, the company boasts a world-class leadership team and I look forward to joining at this very exciting time.”
