EET Group has acquired European distributor of video surveillance equipment, Ernitec.
Ernitec has distributed video surveillance products for almost 40 years, and has a broad customer base in the traditional CCTV market across Europe and experienced in both analogue and IP based video surveillance solutions.
Says EET managing director, Simon Smith: “The acquisition of Ernitec with a turnover of approx £1m in the UK has given EET UK a great platform from which to build a value added distributor of CCTV and surveillance products.”
In a statement, Group CEO of EET Group John Thomas says: "We are incredibly happy and proud to purchase Ernitec. Ernitec historically has been a leader in the CCTV industry with a number of highly competent staff and great sales across Europe. Thus Ernitec fits perfectly into EET Group's commitment to becoming one of Europe's leading CCTV distributors."
EET Group's venture into video surveillance has been evident in recent years acquiring the Danish distributor SafeVision, the Swedish distributor ProOnline and now Ernitec.
