Rubrik has been promoted to an Advanced Tier Technology Partner in the AWS Partner Network, in recognition of its commitment to the cloud storage service through its partnerships with a wide range of industry sectors.

AWS noted the company's expertise in data management and disaster recovery alongside its commitment to deep integration with AWS, making it one of the most forward-thinking businesses working with the cloud platform. Offering the ability for companies to recover, manage, and secure data across public clouds and on-premises environments mean it's able to push forwards AWS's business and make a real difference to end-users.

“Rubrik customers running on AWS can instantly access data within hybrid environments to deliver best-in-class customer experiences and simplify operations,” said Ranajit Nevatia, vice president of business development and alliances at Rubrik.

“We are honored to be an Advanced tier Technology Partner in the AWS APN Network after only three and a half years in business. This recognition demonstrates our team’s technical knowledge and deep understanding of AWS.”

Rubrik's security portfolio has been designed for mid-market and large organisations to simplify data management across both cloud, on-premise and hybrid environments. Its Alta product supports a whole spectrum of platforms including VMware, Hyper-V, Nutanix AHV; physical platforms and applications including Linux, Windows, NAS, Oracle and SQL and AWS, Azure, NFS, object stores and tape.

“Rubrik’s support of Amazon Simple Storage Service (S3) helps us ease into cloud services at a cost curve that we’re comfortable with,” said Terry Young, senior network and systems administrator of Castilleja School.

“In addition, we’re saving on the amount of time to manage tape, and we’re providing an insurance policy by having our data reside in another part of the country in case we were hit by a disaster.”
