A10 Networks has announced the expansion of its Europe Middle East and Africa (EMEA) team, as the cybersecurity products and services firm looks to place greater focus on expanding channel and driving sales.

As part of the company’s broadening of EMEA staff, Adrian Taylor has been appointed as Vice President of Sales for Western Europe, while Stephen Dallas becomes Channel Head for the EMEA territory.

With over 25 years’ worth of experience in developing global and multinational accounts across a spectrum of emerging technologies, former Cisco channel partnerships head Taylor is charged with driving growth through direct customer engagements, as well as harnessing channel, service provider and technology partnerships.

“I’ve been accountable for creating, leading and executing a software sales transformation strategy for multiple networking vendors and this is what attracted me to A10 Networks as it transitions to deliver cloud, security, digitalisation and 5G to the market,” Taylor said. “It is a disruptive player and I thrive on working in this type of environment. There is an established customer base, great partners and a solid infrastructure that I can leverage and build out.”

Stephen Dallas also boasts 20 years’ IT industry experience - including leading the launch of Cisco’s Hyper Converged and Software Defined Storage platforms in EMEA - and will be responsible for building revenues through A10’s partners in the region, as well as supporting customer go-to-market initiatives.

“A10’s ability to capture major market transitions affecting our customers such as digital transformation, moving to a cloud strategy, enhancing security and creating a more application-centric infrastructure was what made me want to join the company,” Dallas said.

“There are exciting customer and partner developments on the horizon at A10 Networks and this will give me the opportunity to put into practice what I learnt during my 15 years at Cisco.

A10 has a superb reputation in the market for the quality of its products and I am looking forward to developing new partner relationships as well as building on the great partner ecosystem we already have in place.”

The expansion follows the prior appointment of Anthony Webb as Vice President of Sales in EMEA earlier in the year.
