WiFi Spark seeks retail and transport partners

WiFi Spark is seeking system integrators in the retail and transport pace to bundle its Wi-Fi and analytics products into their offerings to help businesses serve better experiences to their customers.

The company explained that connectivity in shopping centres and on public transport has become an expectation, shifting from a 'nice to have' to a 'must have'. As such, its products mean customers can access the services they need, wherever they are.

The company's Continuously Connected Passenger Journey, for example, can offer rail businesses the technology to keep customers connected to the internet from the platform to the train and then to their ultimate destination.

Additionally, the company's Spark Analytics Platform enables businesses to profile their customers, building a better understanding of what they're interested in so they can be better targeted with offers and relevant content. WiFi Spark explained this will reduce costs and eradicate the need for out-dated market research techniques.

“WiFi SPARK enables businesses to be dynamic and responsive to customer trends," Matt O’Donovan, founder and CEO of WiFi Spark, said. "To achieve this, we include intelligent data analytics on our platforms. This highlights details such as visitor age, how far they have traveled to the venue and their movements in and around a location which can feed into a more targeted marketing strategy, compliant with GDPR requirements."

WiFi Spark is already working with a range of customers in the healthcare, retail, transportation, public sector, education, outdoor and stadium sectors, but now it wants to build upon its existing partner base, expanding its offering to more businesses.

"We have proven time and time again that our solutions are a perfect fit for these markets, and working with the right Partners will allow us to reach a larger audience," O’Donovan added.

"This is particularly true of the transport sector in Europe, where we are hoping 2018 will see us make a real impact."
