Lenovo launches 360 Engage as part of wider 2023 channel refresh
IT vendor introduces new competencies and tier structure, opens 360 Circle initiative up to all partners
Lenovo has unveiled its new 360 Engage initiative, which introduces new core competencies and a revamped tier system as part of its wider channel programme refresh for 2023.
Available from 3 April, there will be a total of five new core competencies to help partners 'learn and earn' at both the individual and company-wide levels.
Sellers can progress through learning paths in Life Cycle Services, Workforce Performance, Infrastructure, Advanced Infrastructure, and TruScale categories to achieve new credentials and certifications.
Lenovo said these new competencies have been designed to help partners improve their skill sets and become trusted advisors to customers, ultimately improving sales and revenue growth opportunities.
The vendor is also introducing a new ‘360 Tier’ to its structure, which combines the features of its existing Intelligent Devices, and Infrastructure Solutions tiers.
“Partners are familiar with our existing tiers for Intelligent Devices and Infrastructure Solutions,” said Jeff Taylor, executive director of worldwide channel marketing and programmes at Lenovo.
“Those incentives are not going away; Lenovo 360 Engage adds a new level of incentives through our new 360 tier, which offers even more ways to earn for partners who want to branch out and sell across both portfolios.”
Launched back in January 2022, the Lenovo 360 programme provides partners with access to the company’s full portfolio across services and solutions, infrastructure, and intelligent devices.
Lenovo said the framework is designed to help partners strengthen their position in the market through its combination of solutions, marketing, and sales enablement resources, as well as its ecosystem connections.
Alongside the addition of 360 Engage, Lenovo is extending access to the programme’s 360 Circle initiative in 2023, following the completion of a successful pilot last year.
The scheme connects partners with experts and other businesses on environmental, social, and governance objectives, providing tools and resources to help develop sustainability-focused solutions. Partners can now apply via the Lenovo Partner Hub.
Additionally, the firm also announced its new 360 Solutions Hub resource, which has been designed to provide partners with a host of sales enablement assets and integrated features - such as guided search, guided selling, and co-selling tools.

The Lenovo 360 Solutions Hub will also be available from April, rolling out to selected markets across North America, Europe, and the Asia-Pacific region, with further expansions planned for 2024.
Matt Zielinski, Lenovo’s executive vice president and president of international markets, said the 360 programme is “completely revolutionising” the way the company does business with partners.
“As we continue to evolve the incentives, programmes, and resources to help them grow their businesses, we’re sending a clear message – we are the channel-centric company, and that’s a commitment that will not waiver,” he said.
