Mark Hiley joins Riverbed as regional sales director

Mark Hiley has been appointed as Riverbed Technology's new regional sales director in the UK and Ireland.

He will lead the application performance company's channel business in the territory, working with partners and the wider business to ensure it grows in line with the organisation's global strategy.

Riverbed's strategy in 2016 has been focused on build an embedded solution and services programme, driving increased engagement and accelerating ongoing revenues across the company's key markets and industries. To ensure it meets these goals, the company has improved its channel incentives, including offering better rewards for partners who wish to embed Riverbed in their existing solutions and services.

“As more enterprises in the UK and Ireland begin to embrace digital transformation, Riverbed is uniquely positioned to meet their application performance needs," Hiley said.

"I’m looking forward to developing Riverbed’s regional presence in the channel and helping partners capitalise on the new market opportunities opened up by digital transformation.”

Hiley has 28 years of IT industry experience. Before joining Riverbed, he was EMEA sales director at EMC and before that, UK channel sales director at Dell.
