Micro-P has announced a distribution agreement with tablet and stylus manufacturer Wacom, with the broadliner looking to extend the Japanese firm’s channel reach in the UK.
Wacom specialises in interactive pen displays and digital drawing tablets, which it says are used in both business and education. The firm claims Micro P’s track record in brining new products to market make it “ideally suited” to promote Wacom in the UK.
“Micro-P has turned brand after brand in to a UK sales success story,” says Chris Van Roosmalen, general sales manager, UK & BeNeLux at Wacom. “We have no doubt that Micro-P will play a fundamental part in bringing sales of Wacom’s solutions alive through a series of well-considered, well-timed and well-targeted sales campaigns and initiatives.”
“We relish the opportunity to build further awareness of the Wacom brand along with significantly boosting its market share in the UK,” adds Simon Barnard (pictured), computing general manager at Micro-P, which joins Ingram Micro as part of Wacom’s UK distribution line-up.
“Wacom offers a range of professional and consumer tablets along with its highly recommended Bamboo Stylus range and these will enable us to deliver an even stronger proposition to help support and service our valued reseller partners.”
